commonwealth education fund
making public schools work for all children
The Commonwealth Education Fund (CEF) is an innovative education partnership delivered by three leading international development organisations: ActionAid, Oxfam GB and Save the Children UK. The CEF project will run from 2002-2008.

The project promotes free primary education for all children.
CEF gives advice and funding to education groups in 16 Commonwealth countries. These groups work independently or together as a national coalition to identify and act on the problems that stop children from attending school. To find out more about these issues, please visit our resources page or read about the global crisis in education.
PLEASE NOTE: CEF does NOT give scholarships or bursaries of any kind. Application forms and fees for a Commonwealth Group of Nations/Commonwealth Education Fund scholarship are fraudulent; no such scholarship exists. Please report such activity to the police.
