Cameroon
CEF Cameroon held a coalition building workshop and forum in Yaoundé
in February 2003. Forty-nine local level NGOs participated along with
representatives from the Education for All Permanent Autonomous Technical
Unit (PATU), the British Council, UNESCO and the Africa Network Campaign
on Education for All (ANCEFA). The workshop helped to build an understanding
of the EFA process, led to the establishment of a civil society coalition
working on education, and developed government-civil society links
and partnerships.
