The Commonwealth Education Fund was launched by the British
Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Gordon Brown, in March
2002, in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Management Committee
The CEF Management Committee is responsible for the day-to-day
management of the Fund, and is composed of members of three leading
UK development agenices: ActionAid, Oxfam and Save the Children.
